No specific development request is open.
Has it been reviewed with learners?
Learner review is not yet documented.
Preparation and participation
Use only the supplied synthetic DOCX pair or the on-page reveal. Test downloads locally before the session. Offer a no-download observer role, package-inspection role, reader role, and recorder-of-findings role. AI is optional; no account, upload, or recording is required.
Facilitation sequence
- Show only the visible workshop notes and ask for predictions.
- Label predictions separately from findings.
- Reveal the white-on-white marker and fictional properties, then keep other predictions open.
- Compare the sanitized copy: identify the targeted details removed, inspect the documented generator metadata that remains, and calibrate reasonable predictions that were absent.
- Practice share / sanitize / substitute / stop.
- If an optional tool is demonstrated, disclose exactly what it received and give it no external action authority.
- End with one independent check and one learner-owned next decision.
Safety and accessibility
Do not invite real-file uploads. Do not imply that DOCX inspection, Document Inspector, antivirus software, or a model response proves safety. Let learners use the text reveal, a screen magnifier, high-contrast extracted text, or a partner description. Avoid fear language; the fixture is harmless and the goal is a repeatable pause.
Debrief and evidence of learning
Ask what was visible, what was predicted, what was revealed, what the targeted sanitization removed, what remained, and what still needs checking. Name absent-but-reasonable predictions so learners do not mistake careful inspection for overreaction. Evidence is a reasoned disclosure choice and a bounded verification step—not successful use of a particular tool.
Timing and materials
Allow 30–45 minutes. Materials: supplied training DOCX, sanitized DOCX, fixture reveal page, optional package viewer, and learner notebook.
