A good place to start
Compare the study’s viewing scenario with the activity you want to estimate.
What fits your question?
The streaming report offers a worked modeling approach. Its service and viewing context matter when deciding where it applies. The Digital Slug example uses it to practice rejecting an attractive but unsupported transfer of a coefficient.
Inspect the reasoning
Follow a quantity back to its unit and boundary. Ask whether infrastructure and viewing-device assumptions overlap with anything already in your model. A familiar topic is not enough to justify addition or substitution. The publisher discloses Netflix funding; that belongs beside a review of the method.
Access and reuse
The overview and linked PDF were accessible during preparation; the landing page also displays a download form. No form was submitted. Public access is not a blanket reuse license. Link to the publisher and check the report’s terms before reproducing material.
What to watch for
- Streaming video is not a direct proxy for reading a text guide.
- Check publication date, scope and applicability before transferring a value.
