Sound Effects Cookbook

Make a sound.
Hear what one change does.

Twelve worked recipes for making sounds with your AI assistant. Start with something you can hear, then make a take of your own.

Open a starship door.

A little air, a sliding panel, a quiet motor. Hear how four layers become one action.

Choose a sound to make

Each recipe includes the first take, a deliberate change, and the files that made both.

You bring the judgment.

We used an AI coding assistant and Python to make these sounds. Every recipe shows an actual experiment. The later take changes one setting; you decide what serves the scene.

The files passed technical checks. Listening preferences and use beneath narration are still open.
