Mike Besso
Mike is a systems thinker, data professional, and educator. For more than forty years, he has worked where data, operations, risk, and technology meet, helping people understand complex systems and translate them into practical ways of working. Today, he is building Renaissance Solutions to help small organizations develop confidence with AI and other fast-moving technologies. His approach is grounded in a simple belief: a business is a human system, not a collection of tools, and technology should support the people responsible for making it work.
Tim Howley
A caffeine enthusiast, data nerd, and casual cinephile. Tim graduated from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs with a degree in exercise science as part of the COVID Class of 2020. Now a mixologist at a small-business cocktail boutique, he has seen technology both bring people together and push them apart. That tension guides his work—and the question he brings to every project: “How might we use this as a community?”
Jim Arnold
Jim believes the beauty of a system lies within simple rules. That belief has followed him through electrical and mechanical design, simulation, drafting, and engineering pursuits. A build that runs cleanly depends on the trust, determinism, and good data practices the owner defines. An answer which solves the right question is more valuable than many poorly constrained attempts. At Renaissance Solutions, he applies that same instinct to technology by going further to reach the simple truth.
Dan Baumhart
A recent graduate of Lewis University, Dan focused on small-business development and startups while creating and pitching award-winning business ideas. At Renaissance Solutions, he researches emerging technologies, develops business opportunities, and helps make AI more understandable and useful. Dan enjoys pressure-testing ideas, identifying practical paths to growth, and helping entrepreneurs reach their goals.
